Senior Business Analyst

The Client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead business analysis initiatives supporting complex, integrated I&IT solutions. This role requires strong collaboration with both business and IT stakeholders to drive clear, actionable requirements and support decision-making across the project lifecycle.

Job Description:

Must Haves:

·         Proven experience working with business and IT teams to gather, analyze, and estimate requirements

·         Strong documentation skills across a wide range of deliverables, including functional/non-functional requirements, business process and data models, and test strategies

·         Experience analyzing complex, integrated system applications

·         Skilled in facilitating JAD or Sprint sessions and translating business needs into technical requirements

Key Responsibilities:

·         Lead comprehensive business analysis activities for diverse initiatives following Ontario Public Service (OPS) methodologies

·         Gather and document business needs, develop business cases, and perform cost-benefit and feasibility analyses

·         Create models (process, data, use case), traceability matrices, and test documentation

·         Support solution design by identifying business improvement opportunities and recommending effective service delivery approaches

·         Maintain alignment with enterprise architecture, project gating processes, and industry best practices
