Senior Business Analyst

Our Ontario Government Client is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with 5-10 years of experience. The successful candidate will have a solid background in Agile Scrum methodologies and hands-on experience working with technical teams to develop use cases, context diagrams, and technical requirements. This role involves leading business analysis for projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, and providing technical leadership.

Must haves:

• 5-10 years of Business Analyst experience

• Experience working with custom software development teams

• Minimum of 3 years of Agile Scrum experience

• Strong experience in developing use cases, context diagrams, sequence diagrams, user stories, and technical requirements

Business Analysis and Technical Skills

• Lead and conduct business analysis for projects, ensuring technical requirements align with functional needs

• Develop context diagrams, use cases, process maps, and stakeholder assessments

• Create system diagrams and write business cases, including cost-benefit analysis and feasibility studies

• Facilitate workshops to elicit and document business requirements, business process reengineering, and user interface design

• Develop performance measures and oversee ongoing production support and configuration management

• Lead requests for proposals, focusing on client requirements and vendor evaluations

Experience

• Experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant on medium-sized projects

• Proficient in enterprise business architecture, software development lifecycle, and risk management

• Experience in developing business cases and conducting business analysis reviews

• Provide technical leadership and ensure solutions align with OPS standards and policies
