Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

This position is provisionally Onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.
About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analytical Specialist / Scientist to support a large-scale Data & AI transformation initiative within a complex public sector environment.
The successful consultant will contribute to the development and execution of advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence solutions within a modern enterprise data ecosystem. This role will focus on cloud-based analytics platforms, data science methodologies, model deployment, experimentation, and Large Language Model (LLM) technologies while supporting evidence-based decision-making and actionable business insights.
Scope
Support enterprise Data & AI initiatives within a modern cloud-based analytics ecosystem.
Develop and execute advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI solutions.
Build, deploy, monitor, and optimize machine learning and inference pipelines.
Execute batch inference jobs in Databricks and cloud-based environments.
Support experimentation, model evaluation, and benchmark testing activities.
Assignment Deliverables
Advanced analytics and reporting solutions.
Machine learning models and predictive analytics outputs.
Data models and analytical datasets.
Inference pipelines and model execution workflows.
Experiment tracking and performance evaluation reports.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
Must have experience Azure data tools - azure, databricks, MLflow, python
Exposure to LLM frameworks (DSPy, LangChain, Hugging Face, or equivalent).
Familiarity with Python and libraries like pandas, scikit-learn, or PyTorch.
Nice to Have:
Experience with enterprise data platform implementations.
Experience with generative AI and enterprise LLM solutions.
Familiarity with Responsible AI principles and governance practices.
Security Clearance
