Position: Senior ETL - Software Developer
Duration: 2 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite/Hybrid: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior ETL - Software Developer to support the design, development, modernization, and optimization of enterprise data integration and data warehousing solutions within a large-scale public sector environment.
The successful consultant will bring extensive experience with Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC), Oracle PL/SQL, data warehousing, and cloud technologies. This role will focus on ETL modernization initiatives, migration of legacy Informatica assets, performance optimization, data integration, and the delivery of scalable data pipelines supporting business-critical applications and reporting solutions.
Scope
Design, develop, maintain, and support ETL processes using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
Migrate Informatica PowerCenter v10.2 ETL processes, including embedded SQL and PL/SQL code developed on Oracle platforms.
Test and validate migrated ETL processes, SQL queries, and PL/SQL stored procedures.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve ETL failures, performance bottlenecks, and data quality issues.
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading activities from multiple source systems into enterprise data warehouses.
Assignment Deliverables
Design and development of ETL/ELT solutions using Informatica IDMC and Oracle technologies.
Migration and modernization of existing Informatica PowerCenter ETL assets.
Development of complex SQL and PL/SQL procedures, packages, views, and scripts.
Creation and maintenance of data integration pipelines supporting enterprise reporting and analytics solutions.
Performance tuning and optimization of database and ETL processes.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
Contribute to and support design, development, and maintenance of ETL processes using Informatica Cloud (IDMC).
Migrate Informatica PowerCentre v10.2 ETL code including embedded SQL and PL/SQL code developed using Oracle 11g and 19c
Test migrated embedded SQL code and PL/SQL based Stored Procedures.
Performance-tune and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for performance and scalability.
Conduct root cause analysis and resolve ETL issues, including performance tuning and recovery to achieve optimum baseline-based performance
Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from various sources into data warehouses (star/snowflake schemas).
Translate technical specifications into fully tested applications and data pipelines.
Nice to Have:
Experience performing database backup, recovery, failover, and refresh activities using RMAN.
Experience with public sector environments and large-scale government technology initiatives.
