    Position: Senior Full Stack - Software Developer

    Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract)
    Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
    Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

    This position is provisionally Onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.

    About the Engagement

    Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack - Software Developer with deep full‑stack engineering expertise to lead and support the development, modernization, and continuous improvement of enterprise‑grade applications. This role combines program leadership with strong technical acumen across Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, modern cloud architectures, and full‑stack engineering best practices.

    Scope

    • Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines, including extraction, transformation, and loading.

    • Translate system specifications into fully tested, production‑ready applications.

    • Develop detailed programming specifications, generate and maintain code, and build robust unit test suites.

    • Troubleshoot issues, provide technical support during implementation, conversion, and migration.

    Assignment Deliverables

    • Fully developed, tested, and documented full‑stack application components.

    • RESTful API design, implementation, documentation, and integration with front‑end services.

    • CI/CD pipeline enhancements and automated deployment workflows.

    • Architecture components supporting scalable, modular, and performant application ecosystems.

    Expertise Required

    Must Have:

    • Significant hands‑on experience building responsive, performant applications for web and mobile.

    • Advanced Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, SpringBoot, React, and Next.js expertise.

    • Deep hands‑on experience with Node.js for scalable middle‑tier and back‑end services.

    • Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, UI patterns, and modern web architecture.

    • Solid understanding of cloud‑based architectures and component‑driven development.

    • Experience implementing serverless, microservices, RESTful APIs, and modern architecture patterns.

    Nice to Have:

    • Experience with middleware, gateways, installation scripts, debugging, and testing.

    • AODA and accessibility compliance experience.
