About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack – Software Developer to provide ongoing maintenance, enhancement, and production support for a large‑scale, enterprise application within a public‑sector environment. The successful consultant will support the OASIS Core Web application, a Java‑based cloud solution hosted on Microsoft Azure, with integrations to a mobile field data capture application built on ESRI GIS technology. This role requires strong full‑stack development expertise, cloud integration experience, and the ability to work effectively in an Agile delivery environment.

Scope

• Provide senior‑level full stack development support for enterprise applications

• Maintain, enhance, and support production systems hosted on Azure Cloud

• Develop and support integrations with GIS and mobile applications

• Ensure solutions meet quality, performance, security, and accessibility standards.

Assignment Deliverables

• Enhanced and maintained full stack application components

• Backend services, APIs, and integrations

• Frontend components meeting usability and accessibility requirements

• Deployment artefacts and unit test results.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• 7+ years of full stack Java development experience designing and delivering enterprise‑level solutions

• Strong hands‑on experience with Java/JEE and Spring Boot (v2.5+)

• Front‑end development experience using Angular (2+) and HTML5

• Experience building and integrating RESTful APIs

• Experience working with Azure Cloud technologies, including Azure App Services and Azure DevOps Pipelines

• Strong database experience with Azure SQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL

• Experience supporting production applications, including maintenance and enhancement.

Nice to Have:

• Working knowledge of GIS spatial data or ESRI GIS databases

• Experience with Python or other scripting languages

• Experience building integrations using API Management (APIM).
