Position: Senior Full Stack – Software Developer
Duration: 9 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally Onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.
About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack – Software Developer to support enterprise-level application development and modernization initiatives. The successful consultant will work within cross-functional Agile teams to design, build, and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performing applications across front-end, middle-tier, and back-end layers. This role requires deep technical expertise in Java-based frameworks, modern front-end technologies, API integrations, and cloud-based architecture.
Scope
Design and develop scalable full stack applications (UI, API, and backend services)
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and enterprise services
Support DevOps and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps
Ensure performance, scalability, security, and accessibility compliance.
Assignment Deliverables
Production-ready full stack application components
RESTful API services and integration solutions
Technical specifications and architecture documentation
Unit, integration, and automated test artifacts.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
10+ years’ experience with J2EE development tools
10+ years’ experience with Spring Framework / Spring Boot
10+ years’ experience with IBM UrbanCode tools
Strong experience with React
Experience in API design and integration (load balancing, resiliency, service discovery)
Experience with Azure DevOps, Agile/Scrum delivery environments
Prior experience with Digital Dealership Registration (DDR) initiative (strong asset).
Nice to Have:
Experience with UX/UI principles and API-driven front-end integration
Strong understanding of AODA compliance and accessibility standards
Experience conducting design walkthroughs and providing documentation.
