Your Role
Position: Senior Information Architect
Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally Onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.
About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Information Architect to support enterprise architecture, information architecture, business architecture, and data strategy initiatives within a large and complex public sector environment.
The successful consultant will provide architectural leadership and expertise in information modeling, business architecture, cloud-native solutions, AI-enabled data analysis, processes, and enterprise architecture frameworks. The role requires collaboration with business and technology stakeholders to design and implement scalable, secure, and standards-based architecture solutions that align with organizational goals, governance requirements, and digital transformation initiatives.
Scope
Provide information architecture expertise and interpretation guidance to project and enterprise-level teams.
Develop and maintain information architecture deliverables, data models, and architecture artifacts.
Support business architecture initiatives by aligning business processes, information, roles, responsibilities, and strategic objectives.
Lead architecture reviews, assessments, and activities.
Assignment Deliverables
Information Architecture and Business Architecture artifacts.
Logical and physical data models.
Architecture review and assessment documentation.
Target State Architecture (TSA) deliverables.
Cloud architecture and solution design documentation.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
Demonstrated experience in providing information architecture interpretation advice and expertise to other project and/or enterprise level I&IT project teams.
Demonstrated experience in providing business architecture advice, focusing on specific business domains, business goals, processes, information, roles, responsibilities, locations, events and alignment with business strategy.
Experience in the use of Computer Aided Software Engineering (Case) tools (i.e. PowerDesigner, Visio) and other software tools
Experience in using AI for data analysis which blends traditional strengths with new AI-centric abilities
Experience with Public Sector enterprise architecture committees and processes.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Target State Architecture (TSA).
Experience with GO-ITS standards and enterprise architecture compliance.
Security Clearance
