Senior Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist

Our client is seeking a Senior Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Specialist to support key initiatives with a strong focus on health privacy. This role requires a strategic thinker with operational and advisory experience in privacy within healthcare or IT environments.

Job Description:

Must Haves:

·         3+ years conducting PIAs on medium to high complexity projects in a health privacy context

·         5+ years of direct operational privacy experience, preferably in healthcare and/or IT

·         5+ years drafting and reviewing privacy requirements for data sharing agreements

·         Solid understanding of PHIPA, including HINP and ESP requirements.

Responsibilities:

As the Senior PIA Specialist, you will lead the development of privacy policies, conduct PIAs, assess and mitigate risks, and act as a privacy SME across business units and committees. You’ll provide legislative interpretation under PHIPA, advise on privacy requests, and strengthen internal privacy culture through collaboration and education
