Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager with strong mobile application expertise to lead the delivery of innovative digital credential solutions within a large-scale enterprise environment.
The successful consultant will be responsible for defining product strategy, managing agile delivery teams, collaborating with technical and business stakeholders, and driving the development of secure, scalable, and user-centered digital products. This role requires a combination of product leadership, technical expertise, and experience working with emerging digital identity and credential technologies.
Scope
Define and maintain product roadmaps aligned with business objectives, user needs, and technical capabilities.
Facilitate product planning activities including backlog management, sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and iteration reviews.
Partner closely with engineering, UX, DevOps, security, and architecture teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Evaluate solution options, technical feasibility, operational risks, and architectural trade-offs.
Assignment Deliverables
Product roadmap and release planning aligned with business objectives.
Prioritized product backlog, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Sprint plans, iteration reviews, and product delivery reporting.
Product performance metrics and KPI tracking dashboards.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
Product Manager experience delivering enterprise mobile applications and digital products.
Proven experience working in Agile environments leading multidisciplinary product teams.
Strong understanding of mobile technologies including Kotlin, Swift, and React Native.
Hands-on software development or solution architecture experience supporting product delivery.
Experience working with backend technologies such as Node.js, Go, or Python.
Experience communicating complex technical concepts to executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
Strong understanding of API design, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms such as Azure and/or AWS.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with trust frameworks and standards including PCTF, NIST, and eIDAS.
Knowledge of decentralized identifiers (DIDs), W3C Verifiable Credentials, credential status lists, and trust registries.
Experience developing or supporting SDKs, mobile wallets, agent applications, or identity-related backend services.
