Your Role

Position: Senior Program Manager

Duration: 3 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally Onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.


About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead complex, large-scale digital and enterprise transformation initiatives. The successful consultant will provide strategic leadership, Public Sector, oversight, and delivery management across multi-stakeholder environments, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and adherence to program management best practices.


Scope

  • Lead end-to-end program management activities across large, complex initiatives

  • Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across business and technical teams

  • Align program delivery with strategic business objectives and priorities

  • Ensure adherence to enterprise project and program management methodologies.


Assignment Deliverables

  • Program plans, integrated work plans, and execution tracking artifacts

  • Executive briefings, presentations, and decision-support materials

  • Strategic roadmaps and planning documentation

  • Stakeholder engagement and communication materials.


Expertise Required

Must Have:

  • 10+ years of experience in program management, delivering large-scale, complex IT or digital transformation initiatives

  • Proven experience in stakeholder management, including building partnerships and managing executive-level expectations

  • Strong experience with program planning, scheduling, and integrated delivery management

  • Proven ability to manage risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation strategies across multi-stakeholder environments

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, including executive-level reporting

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and program performance measurement

  • Ability to drive continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives

  • Experience preparing executive-level briefings, business cases, and strategic analysis documents.
