Position: Senior Project Manager / Leader
Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)

About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Leader to lead large-scale, complex, high-profile enterprise resource planning (ERP) and Human Capital Management (HCM) initiatives within a public sector environment.
The successful consultant will provide leadership across all phases of project delivery, including planning, public sector, budgeting, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, implementation, and transition activities. This role requires extensive experience managing large ERP programs, deep expertise with PeopleSoft HCM solutions, and the ability to deliver business-critical initiatives while ensuring compliance with established project management methodologies and governance frameworks.
Scope
Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
Manage project scope, budget, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
Oversee implementation and upgrade initiatives involving PeopleSoft HCM, PeopleTools, and PUM releases.
Coordinate business, technical, infrastructure, and vendor teams throughout project delivery.
Assignment Deliverables
Project Charter and Project Management Plan.
Detailed project schedules, work breakdown structures, and implementation roadmaps.
Budget forecasts, financial tracking reports, and variance analyses.
Risk, issue, change, and dependency management documentation.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
Extensive experience serving as a Project Manager on PeopleSoft-related projects and HCM transformation initiatives.
Demonstrated experience leading multiple large-scale ERP projects valued at $5M+.
Significant expertise with PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) applications.
Experience implementing PeopleSoft Fluid and Classic Plus user interfaces.
Hands-on experience delivering PeopleTools upgrades and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) implementations.
Experience working within Microsoft Azure cloud environments utilizing RHEL, Windows Server, and Oracle Database platforms.
Experience delivering technology projects within a public sector environment.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of enterprise workforce management and HR technology modernization programs.
Experience supporting cloud migration or infrastructure modernization initiatives.
