Position: Senior Security Architect
Duration: 6 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite/Hybrid: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally Onsite/Hybrid, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.
About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Security Architect to support enterprise security architecture assessments, cloud security reviews, and security initiatives within a complex healthcare technology environment.
The successful consultant will play a key role in evaluating solution architectures, identifying security risks, ensuring compliance with established security standards, and supporting project teams through critical security review processes prior to production deployment. This role requires deep expertise in cloud security architecture, threat modeling, security frameworks, and enterprise security controls.
Scope
Coordinate meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder engagements across multiple Emergency Services workstreams.
Organize calendars, meeting schedules, agendas, materials, and participant communications.
Prepare and maintain meeting minutes, action logs, decision records, and follow-up documentation.
Support project managers and implementation lead with project coordination and reporting activities.
Assignment Deliverables
Security architecture assessments and review reports.
Security gap analyses and risk assessment documentation.
Threat models and security architecture recommendations.
Cloud security architecture reviews and compliance assessments.
Security standards, patterns, and reference architecture updates.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
10+ years of experience in information security principles, practices, technologies, programs, and procedures.
Extensive experience designing and assessing enterprise security architectures.
Strong knowledge of cloud architecture and cloud security controls.
Experience supporting security governance and architecture review processes.
Strong understanding of enterprise cybersecurity practices, technologies, and frameworks.
Experience evaluating technical solutions for security compliance and risk management.
Nice to Have:
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Experience working in highly regulated environments.
Demonstrated leadership in driving architecture and security best practices.
Security Clearance
Required.
