Senior Security Specialist

 

Our Client is seeking an experienced Senior Security Specialist to lead and support security governance and compliance initiatives across complex Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) environments.

Job Location: Toronto, ON/Hybrid

Job Description:

 Must Haves:

·         7+ years of experience in information security including large-scale security projects

·         7+ years in OT environments with strong knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance specific to OT systems

·         Deep expertise in security governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks

·         Strong familiarity with industry standards such as PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO 27001

 Key Responsibilities & Skills:

·         Develop security roadmaps, policies, standards, and processes

·         Lead GRC initiatives and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements

·         Conduct vendor evaluations and manage third-party security risks across procurement lifecycle

·         Deliver executive-level reporting and risk presentations

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly

·         Utilize tools such as ServiceNow, OneTrust, and AuditBoard

·         Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerBI, and SharePoint
