About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to support large‑scale, enterprise‑grade data, analytics, cloud, and business intelligence initiatives within a complex public‑sector environment. The successful consultant will act as a subject matter expert (SME) across modern data platforms and cloud technologies, contributing to the design, development, implementation, and support of secure, scalable, and high‑performance analytics and reporting solutions aligned with Public Sector environments.

Scope

• Translating technical and business requirements into working, tested applications

• Designing and implementing scalable BI and analytics solutions

• Supporting cloud migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives

• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues across data and cloud platforms.

Assignment Deliverables

• Developing detailed programming and technical specifications

• Writing, generating, and maintaining high‑quality code

• Designing, building, and supporting complex SQL queries (hundreds or thousands of lines)

• Compiling data‑driven programs and conducting unit and integration testing

• Designing and developing BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• Strong experience writing and supporting complex SQL queries

• Proven expertise in Power BI including DAX and advanced data visualizations

• Hands‑on experience with Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Azure Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Analysis Services, and Azure Synapse

• Experience designing and developing enterprise BI dashboards and reports based on business requirements

• Demonstrated experience working in Azure cloud environments, including cloud migration and data analytics solutions.

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience working in a public sector environment.
