Position: Senior Software Developer
Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite/Hybrid: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally Onsite/Hybrid, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.
About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer (Maximo) to support enterprise Work and Asset Management solutions. The successful consultant will bring deep expertise in IBM Maximo, leading configuration, development, integration, and modernization initiatives. This role requires hands-on development experience, strong architecture understanding, and the ability to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
Scope
Design, develop, and configure solutions within the IBM Maximo platform
Lead implementation, upgrade, migration, and integration initiatives
Develop customizations, workflows, reports, and automation scripts
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise solutions.
Assignment Deliverables
Configured and customized Maximo application components
Technical design documents and architecture artifacts
BIRT reports, dashboards, and workflows
Test plans, test cases, and execution results
Integration solutions and API documentation.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
Extensive 10+ years of hands-on experience in Maximo application configuration and development based on client and business requirements.
Considerable experience leading and supporting large-scale Maximo implementations, migrations, upgrades, testing activities, and technical documentation.
Strong experience with Maximo Business Objects and Web Beans (Java), Automation Scripts (Jython/Python or similar scripting languages), and related customization frameworks.
Considerable experience building integrations with enterprise systems such as SAP, Salesforce, GIS, and other platforms using Web Services, RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, and database technologies.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of emerging technologies and enterprise architecture trends
Experience mentoring junior developers and supporting knowledge transfer.
