Senior Solutions Designer

The Ontario Government Client is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Developer with extensive expertise in developing and maintaining enterprise-level software solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing AWS cloud-based systems, ensuring their availability, security, and scalability. This role involves hands-on work with Amazon Connect, AWS services, and various DevOps tools in a highly collaborative environment.

Must haves:
• 10+ years of software development experience
• 5+ years of experience in AWS cloud using core AWS services
• Strong expertise with Amazon Connect and AWS security best practices
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and AWS DevOps tools
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Python, Node, and other scripting languages

Technical Skills
• 10+ years’ experience in software development
• 5+ years in AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, etc.)
• Experience with cloud security models and AWS CLI

Core Skills and Experience
• 10+ years in system design models and technical documentation
• Strong knowledge of DevOps tools and containerization

Contact Center/Public Sector Experience
• 5+ years implementing Contact Center solutions

General Skills
• Proven leadership and consulting skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
