Senior Specialized IT Consultant

We are seeking a Senior Integration Specialist for our Ontario Government Client. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in healthcare systems, data integration, and messaging standards. You will be instrumental in aligning Provincial Client Registry (PCR) data with immunization data, contributing to a significant provincial healthcare project.

Must Haves:

• 5-7 years of experience with Integration Engines for data exchange

• 5-7 years of experience with HL7 (v2, FHIR) messaging, Cloverleaf integration suite, and IBM InfoSphere DataStage

• Extensive experience with healthcare systems and SQL programming

• Strong knowledge of IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS)

• Experience with SDLC, QA requirements, and software development control

• Proficiency in distributed messaging and streaming data solutions (e.g., Kafka)

• Familiarity with container-based development (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)

Responsibilities:

• Align PCR data with client identifiers related to immunization data.

• Support foundation data alignment activities for the Immunization Repository project.

Desired Skills:

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Expertise in HL7 (v2 and FHIR) standards.

• Adaptability to tight deadlines and changing priorities.

• Knowledge of Provincial Registries and privacy policies is an asset.

• Experience in highly political environments and understanding of accessibility regulations.
