Position: Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist
Duration: 5 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite/Hybrid: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally Onsite/Hybrid, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.
About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist to support the ongoing testing and quality assurance activities for the Public Sector Agricultural Soil Information System.
The successful consultant will be responsible for planning, executing, documenting, and managing quality assurance activities across complex enterprise applications. This role requires expertise in cloud-based application testing, API validation, accessibility testing, defect management, test planning, quality assurance best practices, and Agile delivery methodologies.
Scope
Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Perform functional, integration, regression, system, accessibility, and user acceptance testing.
Validate cloud-based applications developed using Java technologies.
Test and validate JSON integrations, RESTful Web Services, and HTML5 applications.
Conduct API testing using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
Assignment Deliverables
Comprehensive testing strategies and test plans.
Detailed test cases, test scripts, test data, and test execution results.
Functional, integration, regression, accessibility, and system testing reports.
Defect logs, defect prioritization, and defect management documentation.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
5+ years of QA testing using Agile, hybrid and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
Provide comprehensive and detailed hands-on testing covering cloud-based Java technologies, including JSON, RESTful Web Services, HTML5.
Develop plans, execute testing and produce testing artifacts, assuring software quality.
Documenting errors and defect tracking management
Creation and implementation of test strategy, plans for testing software, debugging code, and enhancing the usability of programs.
Nice to Have:
Experience testing ESRI ArcGIS and Survey123 applications.
Experience validating geospatial technologies and mapping applications.
Experience testing RESTful API integrations involving ESRI services.
Security Clearance
Required.
