About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist to support a large-scale provincial digital health initiative focused on modernizing and consolidating clinical data access platforms. The successful consultant will lead quality assurance activities, including designing, developing, and executing advanced automation frameworks for UI and API testing. This role will play a critical part in delivering a scalable, high-quality solution that enhances access to integrated patient data across healthcare systems.

Scope

• Lead end-to-end testing strategies for UI and API validation

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java and Selenium

• Execute functional, integration, and system testing in Agile environments

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA Leads, Developers, Architects, and Business Analysts.

Assignment Deliverables

• Test strategies, plans, and execution reports

• Automated test scripts and reusable frameworks (UI and API)

• Test cases, scenarios, and traceability matrices

• Defect tracking and reporting (JIRA).

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• 7+ years’ experience Extensive hands-on experience with one or more automation testing framework to test UI screens (Web pages) and API testing by developing automation suite via writing complex codes from scratch using JAVA programming language and Selenium

• 7+ years’ experience Hands-on experience in testing API / Web services using any API testing tool such as Postman, SOAPUI, ReadyAPI or their equivalent in an automated fashion.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with GitHub

• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
