    Duration: 1 Year assignment (contract)
    Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
    Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

    This position is provisionally Onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.

    About the Engagement

    Akkodis is seeking highly experienced Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialists to support the Central Waitlist Management (FY26–27) initiative. This initiative aims to digitally enable provincial, regional, and hospital stakeholders using a user‑first, iterative requirements‑development approach. The ideal consultants will bring deep testing expertise for enterprise‑scale web and API applications, develop QA strategies, and collaborate closely with technical and business teams across all phases of the SDLC.

    Scope

    • Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and select testing tools appropriate for large‑scale systems.

    • Plan, organize, and execute testing activities for GUI and non‑GUI components, including systems integration, specialized testing, error‑handling, connectivity, stress testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

    • Design, document, and execute detailed test cases across various system components.

    Assignment Deliverables

    • Test Strategy and QA Framework for assigned features and system areas.

    • Estimated DevOps tasks for QA work tied to feature delivery.

    • Developed and executed test cases across all assigned modules.

    • Full defect lifecycle management and tracking for owned components.

    Expertise Required

    Must Have:

    • 8–10 years hands‑on experience testing Web Applications (.NET).

    • 3+ years testing REST APIs using Postman or equivalent automation tools.

    • 3+ years hands‑on experience using Microsoft Azure DevOps Test Plans.

    • 3+ years’ experience writing SQL queries for testing validation and data QA.

    Nice to Have:

    • Knowledge of AODA standards and compliance considerations.

    • Experience supporting or coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
