Position: Senior Technology Architect

Duration: 9 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally Onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.

About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Technology Architect to lead the development, implementation, and management of enterprise‑level technical architectures for a large, complex, cross‑platform environment. This role supports large‑scale platform and engagement expansion initiatives leveraging modern cloud technologies.

Scope

• Leading the development and implementation of enterprise technical architectures across distributed environments

• Defining development environments, standards, and architectural frameworks

• Ensuring solution alignment with Enterprise Architecture processes and best practices

• Providing architectural leadership across cloud, infrastructure, and application platforms.

Assignment Deliverables

• Enterprise technical architecture artifacts and models

• Conceptual, logical, and physical architecture designs

• Architecture recommendations aligned with cloud and enterprise standards

• Documentation supporting platform expansion and integration initiatives.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• Extensive hands‑on experience across multiple cloud platforms, operating systems, databases, environments, and communications protocols

• Demonstrated experience creating enterprise architecture deliverables (e.g., conceptual, logical, and physical models) aligned with Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture (OGEA) standards and practices

• Strong understanding of cloud computing principles, concepts, policies, and best practices

• Experience designing and supporting architectures in large, distributed, cross‑platform environments.

Nice to Have:

• Experience supporting cloud‑based engagement or contact centre platforms

• Familiarity with modern integration patterns, performance optimization, and cloud security considerations.
