About the Engagement

Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Technology Architect to provide enterprise‑level business, application, and solution architecture leadership within a complex public‑sector environment. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, cluster architecture staff, and external service providers to design, validate, scalable, secure, and standards‑based technology solutions aligned with Public Sector Enterprise Architecture, GO‑ITS standards processes.

Scope

• Develop, recommend, implement, and manage technical architecture (hardware, software, database, and communications) for complex, large‑scale, distributed environments

• Provide end‑to‑end business architecture, application architecture, and solution/technical architecture services

• Lead solution design activities, including security and privacy architecture

• Facilitate architecture and requirements workshops, validation sessions, and design reviews.

Assignment Deliverables

• Architecture materials and presentations prepared for cluster and corporate forums (e.g., Project Gating, AGP, LRC)

• Solution design documentation including security, privacy, and integration architecture

• Architecture decision records, options analysis, and recommendations supporting Public Sector approvals

• Facilitated workshop outputs, including validated requirements, process models, and design review results.

Expertise Required

Must Have:

• 10+ years leading multi‑tier application and infrastructure architecture design for medium to large organizations

• Hands‑on experience developing all required business architecture artefacts

• Hands‑on experience developing all required application and solution architecture artefacts

• Demonstrated experience leading all aspects of solution design, including security and privacy

• Experience facilitating architecture and requirements workshops, validation, and review sessions

• Experience with Agile delivery environments

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to accessibility‑by‑design (AODA) principles

• Experience working in multi‑vendor or multi‑partner delivery environments.
