Position: Senior Test Lead
Duration: 3 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite/Hybrid: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally Onsite/Hybrid, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.
About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior Test Lead to support the quality assurance, testing strategy, and validation activities for large-scale enterprise applications within a complex public sector environment.
The successful consultant will lead testing initiatives across multiple workstreams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, accessible, secure, and reliable solutions. This role requires expertise in test planning, automation, accessibility testing, defect management, Agile delivery methodologies, cloud-based solutions, data migration testing, and end-to-end quality assurance practices.
Scope
Develop and maintain enterprise testing strategies, test plans, test cases, test scripts, and testing schedules.
Lead quality assurance activities across functional, integration, regression, performance, accessibility, and user acceptance testing phases.
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts and testing frameworks.
Plan and manage testing efforts for both large-scale and smaller application initiatives.
Assignment Deliverables
Comprehensive testing strategies and test plans.
Functional, regression, integration, system, accessibility, performance, load, stress, and user acceptance test scenarios.
Automated test scripts and testing assets.
AODA compliance testing plans and validation reports.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
Experience planning, organizing, and leading testing efforts for large-scale enterprise applications.
Hands-on experience developing and executing automated test scripts.
Strong knowledge of functional, integration, regression, performance, and accessibility testing.
Experience testing Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications.
Knowledge of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and accessibility testing tools (JAWS, NVDA).
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Proficiency with SQL/PLSQL for data validation, analysis, and testing.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Java-based UI and backend testing.
Familiarity with vulnerability, load, stress, and performance testing tools.
Experience gathering business requirements and creating user stories.
