Seeking a skilled UX and Service Designer for Ontario Government Client, with a focus on designing impactful, user-centered digital services.
Duration: 6+ Months
Must-Haves:
3-5 years in UX Design, including interaction, UI, information, and graphic design.
3-5 years in service design activities (workshops, user research, insight synthesis).
Responsibilities
Design
Lead UX and service design projects end-to-end, ensuring high-quality, efficient results.
User Research and Analysis
Plan and conduct user research, analyze journeys and personas, and use insights to guide design.
Service Design
Develop prototypes, wireframes, and user flows, ensuring compliance with digital standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate across teams, advise on UX design, and engage vendors and stakeholders.
Performance and Improvement
Implement performance metrics, gather feedback, and iterate on designs.
Standards and Best Practices
Promote design standards, methodologies, and system adoption.
Skills Required
UX design expertise in interaction, UI, information, and graphic design.
Service design experience, including workshops and experience direction.
Proficiency with UX tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD), communication, and stakeholder management.
Desirable Skills: Agile, accessibility, data analysis, project management, public sector experience.
Deliverables
User Research Reports: Insights, personas, journey maps.
Design Strategy: UX vision, principles, accessibility strategy.
Design Deliverables: Wireframes, prototypes, style guides, usability testing.
