Senior UX Designer

The Ontario Government Client seeks a Senior User Experience Designer with expertise in UX best practices, mobile-first and responsive design, and agile methodologies.

Duration:6+ Months

Must Haves:

• Proven UX design expertise and knowledge of mobile-first, responsive design.

• 3+ years of experience in user-centered design and agile (Scrum) projects.

• Proficiency in UX tools (JustInMind, Figma, Axure, etc.) and familiarity with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks.

• Strong communication, research, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Discovery Phase:

• Facilitate kick-off meetings and produce outputs like Business Models, User Personas, and Problem Statements.

• Conduct user research and produce findings reports.

• Align stakeholders and define business KPIs.

Alpha Phase:

• Conduct design sprints, create clickable prototypes, and validate with users.

• Refine prototypes based on research findings and produce business proposals for Beta.

Beta Phase:

• Develop user stories, participate in Agile ceremonies, and test accessibility and usability.

• Iterate designs based on user feedback and stakeholder input.

Live Phase:

• Facilitate ongoing research, analyze analytics, and continuously improve the service.

Skills & Experience

• Proficient in UX tools and familiar with web technologies.

• Excellent communication, relationship management, and problem-solving abilities.
