Position: Senior UX Designer
Duration: 6 Months assignment (contract)
Client Location: Toronto (Onsite: 7.25 hours/day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday)
Engagement Model: Professional Services Engagement – B2B (Incorporated Entities Only)

This position is provisionally Onsite, requiring 7.25 hours per calendar day between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (excluding breaks). Conditions may change based on organizational requirements and at the discretion of the Hiring Manager.
About the Engagement
Akkodis is seeking an experienced Senior UX Designer to support the research, design and delivery of intuitive, accessible and user-centred digital experiences across web and mobile applications.
The successful consultant will bring strong experience creating GUI and interaction designs, leading UX projects and design workshops, conducting end-to-end user research, and translating research findings into user journeys, wireframes, mockups and interactive prototypes.
Scope
Design effective, user-friendly, accessible and visually appealing digital interfaces.
Lead UX activities from initial discovery and user research through design, prototyping, testing and iterative improvement.
Conduct user research, interviews and surveys and translate findings into actionable design solutions.
Develop sitemaps, user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups and interactive prototypes.
Assignment Deliverables
Develop intuitive and visually effective GUI designs based on user interaction, research and performance requirements.
Produce wireframes, user flows, user journeys, mockups and interactive prototypes for web and mobile applications.
Plan and lead UX workshops, design workshops and stakeholder alignment sessions.
Manage end-to-end user research activities, from participant recruitment and interviews through analysis and synthesis.
Expertise Required
Must Have:
Relevant experience creating GUI designs based on user interaction and performance.
Experience defining and leading UX projects, design workshops and stakeholder/business-user alignment sessions.
Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end user research, from recruiting participants through research synthesis.
Strong proficiency with design and prototyping tools.
Hands-on experience with Figma, Canvas and similar tools.
Experience conducting user research, interviews and surveys and translating findings into sitemaps, user flows, user journey maps, wireframes, mockups and prototypes.
Nice to Have:
Experience addressing complex UX and design challenges involving legacy systems.
Experience designing digital services with strong emphasis on user-centred interactions and overall user experience.
