    Product Owner / Business Analyst (m/w/d) 100%

     

    For one of our pharmaceutical clients located in Zurich we are currently looking for a Product Owner / Business Analyst. In this position you will support the Digital Product Transformation Team (DPTT) and work closely with stakeholders, especially those from IT and the Pricing & Tender Innovation Center of Excellence (P&TICoE). You will act as a bridge between business and IT, managing the transformation of products from a high-level vision to detailed development. Key responsibilities include leading requirements gathering, co-creating features, prioritizing requests, overseeing development, ensuring alignment with business needs, and collaborating with the Value Enablement Team for installation and capability realization.

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Act as a liaison between the business and IT, with a comprehensive view of both the high-level product transformation vision and the detailed development process.
    • Maintain continuous communication with users, the Decision Excellence & Execution team, and the Enterprise Programs team to shape and refine Epic development in line with evolving needs.
    • Act as a bridge connecting multiple stakeholders in both the business and IT, offering insights into high-level product transformation and detailed development.
    • Contribute to backlog prioritization for efficient development across a multi-quarter roadmap and participate in long-term planning efforts.
    • Play a crucial role in establishing new cross-product work methodologies, with a specific focus on pricing systems.
    • Strengthen relationships with IT, fostering alignment and identifying opportunities for better collaboration and shared goals.
    • Attend product story and sprint demos to ensure alignment with requirements.
    • Engage in feature development, including requirements gathering, stress testing, and UAT.
    • Provide support for ad hoc and post-release issues, contributing to problem-solving and addressing ongoing operational concerns.
    • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, particularly the Pricing & Tender Innovation Center of Excellence (P&TICoE), to ensure requirements are met.
    • Assist in navigating the development process, overseeing IT activities from a business perspective to maintain alignment with business objectives.
    • Play a key role in validating that development work meets established business requirements and standards.
    • Collaborate on additional projects and provide input as needed to contribute effectively to various initiatives across the organization.

     

    Qualifications and Experience:

     

    • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally with a track record of successfully bridging the gap between business and IT in a dynamic environment.
    • Strong understanding of the product development process, from high-level vision to detailed implementation.
    • Proven ability to lead workshops, training sessions, or collaborative discussions to gather insights and drive consensus among cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in requirements gathering and clarification, with the ability to translate business needs into technical language.
    • Strong project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies.
    • Analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex business challenges.
    • Attention to detail, with a record of meticulously reviewing and analyzing complex data, documents, and requirements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both business and IT stakeholders.
    • Leadership abilities and the capability to guide the development process from a business perspective.
    • Proficiency in analytics and data analysis software, such as Power BI, Qlik, or similar tools, with the ability to extract meaningful insights from data to inform business decisions.
    • Collaboration skills and the ability to work cross-functionally within a matrix organization, along with the ability to navigate among various stakeholders at different levels within the corporation.
    • Proficiency in English.
