Strategic Buyer - IT / Digital

We are seeking a Strategic Buyer – IT & Digital Solutions to strengthen our Procurement & Supply Chain team in the Lausanne area. In this key role, you will contribute to structuring and transforming IT procurement within a fast-growing aerospace environment. You will support the deployment of critical digital systems while ensuring efficient, strategic, and scalable sourcing practices.

In collaboration with internal stakeholders, you will drive the structuring and optimization of IT procurement activities

• Transform procurement from a reactive model into a structured, strategic approach
• Define sourcing strategies for IT services, software, and hardware
• Consolidate suppliers and reduce fragmentation of purchasing activities
• Negotiate framework agreements and long-term contracts
• Plan and anticipate purchasing needs with business and IT teams
• Manage contracts (software, SaaS, services, hardware) including pricing, SLAs and terms
• Monitor supplier performance and drive cost optimization initiatives

You are a structured, results-driven professional with strong negotiation skills and the ability to bring organization into complex environments.

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, with exposure to IT/software/services categories
• Proven experience in supplier consolidation, contract negotiation and procurement structuring
• Good understanding of IT environments (SaaS, licensing, digital solutions)
• Experience with ERP systems and procurement workflows
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to drive cost optimization and reduce administrative workload through smarter processes
• Clear and concise English communication skills, both oral and written
