We are currently looking for a Technical Project Lead (TPL) - Mechanics (m/f/d) for our client's engineering department in Visp.
If you have experience in the development of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and in technical project management within industrial engineering systems, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process design
- Participate to the Safety Risk Assessments for the process engineering department
- Generate and update the User Requirement Specs and the Technical Specs
- Perform Line sizing calculations, Restriction Orifices
- Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) development
- Process data sheets
- Raise Changes through the project change management system
- Act as contact person between the internal Stakeholders (e.g. Operations, EHS, Plant Engineering) and the external companies (e.g. engineering contractor, vendors)
- Interact with the external companies
- Review (and comment) all engineering documentation (e.g. P&IDs, lists, Data Sheets, specifications, URS, TS , drawings)
- Participate to 3D model reviews
- Be part of the review and approval of key engineering documents (e.g. Fluid List, PIDs)
- Search and verify availability within our client (e.g. SAP) for the technical documentation of the internal standard material and equipment required by the engineering contractor and the vendors and/or subcontractors
- Participate to the SATs regarding the assigned Units
- Review and approve the Commissioning and Qualification documentation
- Support for the commissioning and qualification activities until the handover to Operations providing technical solutions to the issues that arise from the CQ phase

Candidate’s Profile
- Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, Pharmaceutical, Biochemical or equivalent.
- + 4 years of proven experience as a Technical Project Lead or in a similar technical project management role within industrial Engineering systems
- Experience in process design and with Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID)
- API experience a big plus
- Strong understanding and expertise in using company engineering tools (KNEAT, COMOS, TrackWise)
- Fluency in English.
