IT Monitoring Engineer | €32,000 | Hybrid - Coimbra

As part of their Technology Team, you'll play a key role in monitoring critical IT systems, ensuring optimal service for internal teams and external customers. What You'll Do:
As an IT Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring IT systems and applications are always available. Your responsibilities will include:
Monitoring and Incident Management:
- Oversee infrastructure, networks, and applications using tools like Dynatrace and LogicMonitor.
- Respond to automated alerts, prioritise incidents, and ensure timely resolutions.
- Work with internal teams and external providers to manage and escalate issues.
Collaboration and Reporting:
- Liaise with product teams to investigate service events and drive improvements.
- Produce and manage daily/weekly operational checklists and reports.
Process Development:
- Follow ITIL-aligned processes (e.g., incident, problem, configuration, and change management).
- Contribute to ongoing automation initiatives to enhance efficiency.
Customer Focus:
- Provide exceptional service to internal stakeholders, maintaining clear and effective communication via email and phone.
About You:
This role is perfect for someone with a service desk or technical support background who is eager to develop their infrastructure and networking skills.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 3-5 years in IT support, ideally with exposure to infrastructure and network monitoring.
- Proficiency with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, LogicMonitor) and incident management processes.
- Excellent prioritisation, problem-solving, and escalation skills.
- Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- A proactive mindset and a desire to learn and grow.
Desirable:
- ITIL knowledge or certification.
- Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
