Akkodis are currently working in partnership with a leading service provider to recruit a Senior Python Developer to join their thriving AI Team and become a frontrunner as an AI Provider.

The Role

As a Senior Python Developer you will take the lead in spearheading the development and delivery of cutting-edge software solutions empowered by state-of-the-art AI technologies such as Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision.

The Requirements

• Deep proficiency using Python, specifically with regards to software development principles, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.


• Experience handling unstructured data and applying machine learning techniques, including Natural Language Processing within the context of Large Language Models, and Computer Vision


• Experience working with cloud platforms and services (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS)


• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams


• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software projects on time


• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously


• Motivation to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly

Desirable skills

• Familiarity with frontend development languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript/Typescript, React, MUI).


• Knowledge of web application frameworks (e.g. FastAPI)


• Understanding of large language models and their applications (e.g., OpenAI GPT)


• Expertise in database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)


• Experience working with deployment software (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines)


• Strong documentation and technical writing skills
