Your Role

About the role

For our client Kyndryl, supporting a project for ABN AMRO, we are looking for an experienced Datacentre Architect to join the Data Center team in Amsterdam.

In this role, you will support a New Data Center project with a strong focus on the physical network and connectivity layer. You will be responsible for design and advisory activities around passive infrastructure, including cabling, connectors, patch panels, ODFs, cable trays, containment and rack layouts.

This is not a hands-on installation role, but strong field-based understanding of datacentre environments is essential. Experience with cabling work inside datacentre rooms or halls is considered a strong advantage.

Key responsibilities

You will be involved in designing and advising on new datacentre halls and rooms, with a focus on structured connectivity and passive infrastructure. You will create and interpret technical designs, floorplans and rack elevations, and translate technical requirements into structured design recommendations.

You will work closely with technical stakeholders and provide expert guidance to project teams. Coordination will be managed by ABN AMRO, while your focus will be on design quality, technical input and clear documentation.
