We are looking for a Finance and Administration Manager for an opportunity at our client in Noordwijk, the Netherlands.
Objectives of the Job
- Assure accurate financial forecasts and a timely and correctly delivered yearly financial statement.
- Manage and coordinate the administration and procurement team tasks to ensure seamless and in-time execution of all their tasks.
General tasks to be performed:
- Leading the administration and procurement team of 4 people.
- Conducting the company's accounting, controlling and invoicing functions, including the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, as well as the preparation of annual accounts.
- Supporting the Managing Director in the preparation of financial reports and strategic financial forecasts to be presented to the supervisory board.
- Primarily responsible for ensuring the compliance to fiscal requirements in The Netherlands and main contact for tax advisors, financial auditors and fiscal authorities.
- Supporting proposal preparation and contract negotiations regarding financial aspects .
- Responsible for the purchase, procurement and supplier management processes, and support to procurement tasks and supplier evaluation tasks performed by the procurement team.
- Resonsible for the administrative processes including supporting software (Exact, Synergy).
- Focal point for GDPR, company insurances, EU export control and customs.

Candidate Profile
To successfully perform the above mentioned tasks, the following background / experience is required:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Expert knowledge in the field of accounting and controlling in the Netherlands in combination with Exact/Synergy platform.
- A minimum 5 years work experience.
- Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- A proactive and communicative approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines.
- The ability to organize effectively and maintain precision, ensuring that all team members and stakeholders submit their input promptly for the compilation of financial accounts and liquidity forecasts.
- Team lead experience would be an asset.
- Fluent in English.
- Dutch language skills would be an asset.
