In this Reliability Engineer role, you’ll join an advanced R&D environment focused on integrated photonics and optical communication systems. Your work directly contributes to the quality, performance, and market readiness of next-generation photonic products. The validation results and reliability insights that you generate play a key role in future product performance and technology development.
You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary Validation & Reliability team working on advanced PIC technologies and optical modules. Within this environment, there is a strong focus on innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, with close cooperation between photonics, optics, electronics, software, and product development teams.
What you’ll be doing as a Reliability Engineer:
- Executing reliability and validation testing
- Testing photonic integrated circuits (PICs) and modules
- Analyzing test data and interpreting results
- Reporting findings to engineering stakeholders
- Defining reliability strategies for products
- Improving validation methods and testing frameworks
- Developing automated test scripts
- Performing root cause analysis
- Collaborating with design and product teams
- Enhancing product quality through data-driven insights
What you need to be successful as a Reliability Engineer:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Photonics
- 5+ years in reliability or validation engineering
- Background in photonics or PIC testing and validation
- Knowledge of reliability standards such as Telcordia
- Experience with electro-optical testing methods
- Strong analytical skills with statistical methods
- Programming skills in Python or C++ for test automation
