    As a Hardware Engineer, you will be involved in the entire electronics development process from

    drawing up preconditions, the start of series production up to the end-of-life of the product. During the maintenance phase, as a designer you are the point of contact for both product and production issues. You are the owner of your design throughout the entire cycle. When necessary, you provide support users who integrate electronics into their product.


    You are responsible for:

    • The electronics (partial) design including verification, documentation and providing support for integration and validation testing;

    • Delivering all necessary documentation for production including specifications of production test equipment and the test flow to be followed.

    • Selecting components, making an electrical schematic (incl. simulation) and a PCB design, reviewing PCB layouts. All with of course the necessary documentation; [Think of switching power supplies and PCB microprocessor based designing.]

    • Supervising the production and assembly of PCB prototypes;

    • Verification of the PCB in integration and validation tests;

    • Participate in and perform all design process related activities, where you are responsible for all documentation, in line with internal and external norms and standards (including Safety Directives);

    • Provide support with EMC testing and solving EMC related issues;

    • Identifying and executing process and/or product improvements.


    We are looking for:

    • Bachelor degree in Electronics Engineering

    • At least 8 years of relevant work experience

    • Knowledge of PCB design, production methods and logistics processes for electronic products;

    • Experience with EMC: norms and standards, EMC measurements and solving EMC issues;

    • Some knowledge of embedded software design for hardware drivers;

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English;
