Test Engineer

Akkodis have an excellent opportunity for a Team Lead Deployment & Local Support, the successful applicant will be seconded to our client located in Haarlem.

Akkodis is a specialized IT & Engineering consultancy with more than 30 years’ experience providing consultants to our key partners in The Netherlands. Currently we are recruiting Team Lead Deployment & Local Support. You will be assigned to a project at one of our clients, who is a global player in biometrics and cryptography. Following this project your employment with Akkodis could progress for many years based on our client portfolio.

Within the Service Line Request and Issuance, the position of Team Lead Deployment & Local Support is available. The department is primarily responsible for the maintenance and management of the request chain (equipment and software) at issuance locations of Dutch travel documents.

Because you lead 2 sub-teams here, you need to be firm in your approach. You direct employees on tasks and responsibilities and conduct performance and appraisal interviews.

Additionally, in consultation with the Management Team, you establish department objectives and ensure their implementation. Executing (ITIL) work processes in the department, such as handling incidents, service requests, and maintaining the CMDB, are also part of your daily tasks.

Fluency in Dutch required.

Furthermore, your duties include the following:

• Responsible for planning and monitoring fault and maintenance visits of service engineers domestically and internationally;
• Compiling various reports;
• Responsible for sending security, software, and standard updates;
• Actively participating in projects;
• Responsible for workplace management of our IT office/production environment;
• Responsible for acceptance testing of changes and releases and ensuring these updates are implemented correctly.

Requirements:

• Minimum HBO level of education;
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a supervisor or similar role;
• Holds ITIL Foundation v4 certificate;
• Possesses good communication skills and is service and customer-oriented;
• Team player;
• Flexible;
• Additionally, you are stress-resistant and can work well in a team;
• Resides in Haarlem or surrounding areas.
