Analyst

Akkodis is seeking an Analyst for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX. The candidate will be responsible for validating and ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise mainframe applications across functional and system workflows.

Rate Range: $41/hour to $44/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Analyst Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mainframe applications to ensure functional and system accuracy.

• Perform end‑to‑end functional, integration, and regression testing across Mainframe, DB2, and ERP/CRM systems.

• Analyze business and technical requirements to identify test scenarios and ensure complete coverage of critical workflows.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and cross‑functional teams to resolve defects and validate fixes.

• Validate data integrity and system performance through backend testing, batch job verification, and database checks.

• Support production readiness by identifying risks, documenting test results, and ensuring stable, high‑quality releases.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.

• 8–10 years of hands‑on experience in Mainframe Testing or enterprise application testing roles.

• Strong expertise in Mainframe testing technologies including DB2, functional testing, and ERP/CRM application validation.

• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with strong analytical skills to support high‑quality, stable production releases.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $44.00 per hour
