Akkodis is seeking an Apigee Senior Developer for a Contract with a client in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize scalable API solutions using Apigee to support secure and high‑performance digital integrations.
Rate Range: $34/hour to $41/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Apigee Senior Developer Job Responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain API proxies and shared flows using Apigee to support scalable and secure digital integrations.
Implement API policies for security, traffic management, monitoring, throttling, and transformation.
Develop custom logic using JavaScript to enhance API behavior, validation, and backend integration.
Collaborate with architects and application teams to define API design standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize API performance, reliability, and error handling.
Support API lifecycle activities including deployment, versioning, documentation, and production support.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
4–6 years of hands‑on experience in API development with Apigee.
Strong expertise in Apigee API proxy development, policy implementation, and API lifecycle management.
Proficiency in JavaScript with experience designing secure, scalable, and high‑performance enterprise APIs.

Pay Details: $34.00 to $41.00 per hour
