    Akkodis is seeking an Application Technical Specialist for a Contract job with a client in Smithfield, RI. The ideal candidate has IT hardware support experience, excels in troubleshooting, and can manage calls and updates across multiple tech rollout projects and time zones.

     

    Rate Range: $17/hour to $18/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Application Technical Specialist job responsibilities include:

    • Provide first-level technical support for application-related issues

    • Collaborate with teams to support application rollouts and updates

    • Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance

    • Document technical procedures and maintain internal knowledge bases

    • Assist in user training and onboarding for new or updated applications

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in IT preferred)

    • Minimum 1 year of relevant technical support or IT experience

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

    • Experience with IT hardware installations is a plus

    • Flexibility to work varying shifts across time zones

    Pay Details: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour
