    Akkodis is seeking an Automation tester for a contract with a client in Chicago, IL. You will be responsible for designing and executing automated test scripts and ensuring continuous integration and delivery through robust testing practices.

    Rate Range: $37/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Automation tester job responsibilities include:

    • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.

    • Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

    • Maintain and enhance automation frameworks to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

    • Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla.

    • Perform regression testing to ensure system stability after updates or enhancements.

    • Generate detailed test reports and provide feedback to improve software quality and performance.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    • 6–8 years of hands-on experience in automation testing.

    • Strong proficiency in

    • Requirement 2: Experience in integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.

    Pay Details: $37.00 to $49.00 per hour
