AWS GenAI Lead Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an AWS GenAI Lead Engineer for a Contract with a client in Malvern, PA/Charlotte, NC/Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of scalable AWS-based GenAI solutions, leveraging intelligent agent workflows and enterprise-grade AI applications.

Rate Range: $64/Hour to $67/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

AWS GenAI Lead Engineer Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable Generative AI applications and intelligent agent workflows using AWS cloud technologies.

• Build and integrate AI solutions leveraging AWS Bedrock, foundation models, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) frameworks.

• Develop and maintain high-performance APIs and microservices using Python, FastAPI, and modern cloud-native architectures.

• Implement agent orchestration, tool integrations, prompt engineering, and multi-step workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, provide technical guidance, and deliver innovative AI-driven solutions.

• Ensure secure, reliable, and production-ready deployments through CI/CD, monitoring, testing, and AWS best practices.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 8-10 years of software engineering experience, including extensive hands-on development with Python and AWS cloud technologies.

• Proven experience building and deploying Generative AI solutions using AWS Bedrock, AI agents, LangChain/LangGraph, and RAG architectures.

• Strong expertise in FastAPI, REST APIs, microservices, cloud-native application development, and enterprise-scale system integrations.

Pay Details: $64.00 to $67.00 per hour
