AWS Terraform Developer

    Akkodis is seeking an AWS Terraform Developer for a contract with a client in Jersey City, NJ / Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL(Hybrid). Responsibilities include building and maintaining infrastructure as code and implementing CI/CD pipelines using AWS tools.

    Rate Range: $45/hour to 49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    AWS Terraform Developer job responsibilities include:

    • Design and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation across AWS environments.

    • Manage and optimize AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC for scalable and secure deployments.

    • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and related tools to automate deployments.

    • Ensure high availability and zero-downtime migrations through robust infrastructure planning and execution.

    • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure performance using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure solutions with application and business requirements.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure and automation.

    • Proven expertise in Terraform for infrastructure as code and AWS services like EC2, Lambda, and VPC.

    • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline development using AWS tools and monitoring with CloudWatch or Prometheus.

    Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
