Benchmarking Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Benchmarking Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Auburn Hills, MI. The ideal candidate will lead the benchmarking process from plan development through presentation of findings.

Rate Range: $42/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Benchmarking Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Lead the benchmarking process from plan development through presentation of findings.

• Participate in or lead projects that support global initiatives within the benchmarking organization.

• Identify key project team participants, define project scope and deliverables, and develop project cost estimates.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans including tasks, timing, costs, and team coordination.

• Manage project deliverables in line with the project plan and allocated budget, including scope and change control.

• Monitor project progress, report to stakeholders, and lead stakeholder teams in investigations and workshops.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from an ABET accredited university.

• Minimum of five years in vehicle engineering.

• Must have a general knowledge of vehicle systems including body systems, chassis and suspension, interior/seating/trim, cabin/powertrain thermal and cooling systems, engines/e-motors, traction batteries, and transmission functions.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deal with a variety of people at all levels of the organization.

Pay Details: $42.00 to $45.00 per hour
