Building Maintenance Technician

Akkodis is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician for a Contract to hire job with a client in Wilton, CT. This role involves performing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility equipment.

Note: Shift: – 3rd Shift – Mon to Fri – 600 pm to 600am (2/2/3)

 

Rate Range: $24/hour to $31/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Building Maintenance Technician job responsibilities include:

• Performing preventive maintenance activities on facility equipment, including measurement of wear and replacement of expendables.

• Completing repairs on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other equipment.

• Documenting preventive maintenance activities and work order completions within the CMMS.

• Conducting general building repairs, such as repairing and painting walls, doors, and floors.

• Diagnosing and repairing malfunctioning apparatus, including transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures.

• Maintaining building lighting, task lighting, and electrical distribution systems.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum of five to seven years of mechanical experience, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.

• Three to five years of maintenance experience.

• Valid driver's license.

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and effectively present information to customers and clients.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $31.00 per hour
