Business Development Manager for AI Services

    The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience selling and delivering AI (Artificial Intelligence)/ML (Machine Learning) consulting services within the private sector. This position will focus on identifying and driving new AI and automation services opportunities forward, developing strategic relationships with prospects and clients, partnering with internal Solution Architects to identify customer needs and develop solution proposals, and ultimately closing deals to meet quarterly sales targets.

    Salary: 150K base plus commission and bonus structure
    Location: Remote
    Travel: 25% Domestic Travel

    Job Responsibilities

    • Generate and qualify customer leads through personal networks, industry events, conferences, and marketing campaigns.

    • Drive AI/ML and automation sales opportunities from identification through close.

    • Partner with Solution Architects to understand customer needs and develop proposals aligned with service offerings.

    • Build and maintain strong prospect and customer relationships by delivering tailored solution proposals.

    • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Technology & Innovation, and Delivery teams to ensure a seamless end-to-end sales process.

    • Maintain a foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and concepts.

    • Conduct market research and analysis to inform growth strategy based on emerging trends and opportunities.

    • Contribute to the Growth team’s development by coaching peers and enhancing the sales playbook.

    • Consistently meet or exceed business development targets in support of overall sales goals


    Job Qualifications and preferences

    • Bachelor’s degree required.

    • 5+ years of experience selling and delivering AI/ML and automation services (including GenAI) at technology consulting firms.

    • Prior experience working with or for an AWS Partner in a sales-focused role is highly preferred.

    • Demonstrated ability to lead consultative discovery sessions and shape opportunities with new and existing customers.

    • Strong understanding of major AI/ML technologies, techniques, and concepts.

    • AWS certifications and hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock are a plus.

    • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets ($5M+ annually) in a services environment.

    • Skilled at developing and maintaining executive-level customer relationships.

    • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills

    • Proficiency with Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

    • Up-to-date on SMB technology trends, cloud computing, and AI/ML developments (including GenAI).

    • Highly self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently
