Buyer II

Akkodis is seeking a Buyer II for a Contract with a client in Memphis, TN. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in supplier negotiations, MRP management, and supply chain operations to be considered.

Rate Range: $40/Hour to $50/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Buyer II Responsibilities include:

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply of materials.

• Manage supplier relationships, conduct performance reviews, and drive continuous supplier improvement initiatives.

• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms & conditions to achieve cost savings and protect business interests.

• Collaborate with materials planning teams to support production schedules and meet customer demand requirements.

• Analyze material costs, identify cost reduction opportunities, and support inventory optimization efforts.

• Monitor supplier delivery, quality, and service performance while ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or materials planning within a manufacturing environment.

• Strong experience in supplier management, contract negotiations, and cost reduction initiatives.

• Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems, inventory management, and demand planning processes.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
