CAD Drafter

Akkodis, Inc. is seeking a CAD Drafter to create detailed 2D mechanical drawings based on designs created by engineers. This role is located in Aurora, OH and is 6 months in length. Qualifications include 3+ years of CAD drafting experience OR an Associate or Bachelor degree in a related field and 1-2 years of CAD experience.

Salary Range:  $22-28 per hour; salary negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors

CAD Drafter Job Responsibilities Include :

·       Use CAD software to generate 2D drawings of components and sub-assemblies.

·       Translate 3D designs and models into 2D drawings.

·       Ensure accuracy and adherence to product requirements and standards.

·       Collaborate with team members to review and revise drawings as needed.

·       Prepare and maintain documentation within PLM related to drawing changes, revisions, and approvals.

Qualifications:

·       3+ years of CAD drafting experience OR an Associate or Bachelor degree in a related field and 1-2 years of CAD experience
