    Akkodis is seeking a Construction Manager for a Contract job with a client in Houston, TX(Hybrid). Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience with wireless construction and RF troubleshooting to lead to all phases of DAS and small cell deployments.

    Rate Range: $40/hour to $44/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Construction Manager job responsibilities include:

    • Manage end-to-end construction activities for DAS, small cell, and fiber projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.

    • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and OEM installers to maintain quality and safety standards on-site.

    • Conduct regular site visits (e.g., bid walks, precon, punch walks) to monitor progress and resolve field issues.

    • Oversee RF and fiber testing (e.g., OTDR, PIM, Power Meter) to ensure installation integrity and performance.

    • Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure timely closeout in compliance with client and customer standards.

    • Participate in vendor selection and customer meetings, acting as the construction subject matter expert.

     

    Desired Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional technical certifications in telecommunications or construction management are a plus.

    • Minimum of 3 years in wireless/telecommunications construction, including DAS and small cell deployments.

    • Proficiency in RF troubleshooting and testing, including use of OTDR, PIM, and Power Meter tools.

    • Strong experience managing subcontractors and vendors, with a proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

    Pay Details: $40.00 to $44.00 per hour
