Control System Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Control System Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Dearborn, MI (Onsite). Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in Powertrain & Electrified. Candidates must have proficiency in development of next-generation powertrain control software as well as recent experience to integrate control systems for automotive applications.

The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Control System Engineer Job responsibilities include:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, MATLAB, or Simulink.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• 3+ years of proven experience in integrating control systems for automotive applications

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and project management abilities

Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Job Functions) 

• Experience with development and diagnostic tools.

• Previous experience in developing algorithms for powertrain controls.

• Familiarity with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) testing methodologies.

• Knowledge of vehicle powertrain systems and diagnostic protocols.

• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools for development and verification purposes.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $31.00 per hour
